Guys,
I am not certain about you, but I am outraged at the recently announced hikes in every processing fee whether it's citizenship fees or 485 fees or visa fees. How can they keep a straight face while begging for this increase as necessary to speed up processing? Who's fooling who here? The govt has decreed that USCIS (is that the name now?) be self-supporting and contribute to the funds needed by the Homeland Security Dept. How do we know our hard-earned money is being used to actually hire more USCIS employees to process our documents and not to get more border security and homeland security guys? There's no better way to make-up for budged needs than to shake earning members of the immigrant community dry. We have no voice. It's a crying shame that this country which harps about it's immigrant roots is now exploiting educated, hard-working immigrants.
