HI Stamping in Chennai

Hello Friends

I came to usa on Business Visa in March 2001. Then i traveled back to india twice and finally came to usa in Aug 2001 and one company filed for my H1. Since then i am here in USA on H1 status.

Now i want to visit india and want my H1 to be stamped from Chennai consulate. Kindly can anyone share their experience of what is the current situation there in Chennai. My questions are

- Will the Chennai consulate create problem in stamping my H1 visa. I got my approvel since november 2001

- Approximately how much time will it take for them to process it.

- What are the chances of getting the visa nad what are the chances of getting it disqualified.

I will highly appreciate if you can share some experience with me. I also have continious pay slips with me and all the documents required.

B1 to H1 is not a very risky change of status. Check ttsvisas.com and try to get an appointment and see if you are eligible for a drop off box.
