Hi Guys few quick questions

Hi Guys,

1) Do they give us the application or do we have to get it ourselves before hand? Also, do we need to get photos taken again for the passport (or do they just use the ones we submitted for the application N400)?

2) Also, what documents do we need to bring to the Oath Cermony?
1) N652?
2) Permanent resident card
3) Driver's license
4) Passport from other county

Hi everyone,

I'm in a little bit of a weird situation.

My lawyer received a notice for the oath cermony (which will happen on June 30th).

However, I didn't receive my letter yet. I phoned USCIS and they mentioned to me that I had to wait for 30 days since they issued the letter (which was on May 31st) before I could call in to inquire about it.
Thus, if the letter doesn't come by end of June 29 what would I do?

Can I just use the letter that was sent to my lawyer? Is it the exact same letter? (we signed a form in the beginning that said that he would get a copy of everything sent to him as well).

Thanks a lot

1) If you're referring to passport application, sometimes they have them on hand at oath ceremony. You need to get separate pictures taken for passport.
2) Oath letter, GC, DL, any old immigration cards like EAD if you still have them, respective document for marriage/divorce/crime committed since interview, passport if traveled outsdie of country since interview

Do you have a copy of the oath letter that your lawyer received?

Does it say "Form N-445, Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony"? If yes, then it is exactly the same form that you'd get yourself, and you can use it. Even if your form somehow gets lost in the mail, I think you should still be able to use whatever notice they sent to your lawyer.

Hi!

Thanks so much for your replies!

I just got my letter from my lawyer.

It says: N445 (and is a white letter).

Although it is addressed to myself, it also has my lawyer's name on it, along with the words: "representative copy".

It has a barcode on it, along with questions.

Is it OK that I just use this form, and not worry about receiving my own copy?

Yes, it is perfectly OK for you to use that letter.
