Hai I have 1 more problem.It is that ,I have an immigrnt visa .Iam going to India on 4 th of July of 2005 .I think that my visa will be valid till one year i.e.untill July 4th of 2006 .My doubt is that if by any chance I notice that my departure from India will be delayed ,can I apply for a re entry from the US embassy there.PLs reply soon.

--------Rentry Permit has to be applied with NSC while you are IN US
-- you get the Immigrant visa from consulate before coming to US if processed thriugh US consulate. I dont know if your have GC stamp on passport or actual Green Card in hand.
