Hi ,

I have recently reloActed from VA to Chicago , my RD is 01/29/02 .NoRFE so far.
Curently workingon EAD .Will my case be transferred to NSC??If I call VSC and inform them of my new address in Chicago .

I sent the AR11 address change forms to DC .

I am concerned because VSC is currently processing 10/15/01 and I was expecting my Approval in 3-4 months .

If the case is transferred to NSC (currently 06/01/01 is being processed ) it may get delayed further .

Is the transfer of case mandotory or discretionary???

My lawyer is asking money to draft a letter to this front I am confused pleaselet me know your opinions

Thanks

Only I advice I can give which my friend is doing is Keep your old address and have somebody means if it is appartment you beter keep it for 4 more months . I am not sure about other rules ask your lawyer

I dont think changing your addr from Va to IL should change your service center. Check it out with your attorney

During I-485 process, If any address change is made with INS and the new address falls into a different service center, then automatically your file will be transfered to new service centrer.
Just so to let you know, Nebraska is already processing Aug,Sep cases.
