I thought it might be helpful to have some useful links posted in one place. These may be most relevant to OR (EB1-2) applicants, but some of the content probably applies to EA and NIW folks as well.
Please feel free to add your own helpful links!
1. The updated (2005) version of the "Current trends in EB-1-2 cases" article by Farrell, Riley, and Yale-Loehr pdf version
2. The American Immigration Lawyers Association . You can't access the full content unless you are a member, but their daily headlines are often very informative.
3. The UC Davis International Services Dept. has a packet for OR applicants that includes sample text for letters and advice. Scroll down to "download OR packet".
**use these only for information purposes and advice. The letters for your own packet should reflect your specific area of expertise and accomplishments. You don't want an adjudicator looking at your file and thinking "hmmmm, this looks familiar..."
4. The USCIS site has some appeals decisions posted (these form the basis for item 1 above, but it's informative to read them for yourself). Click on "Administrative Decisions" at the bottom of the page.
Also at USCIS, the adjudicator's field manual. Some of it is redacted, but there is a lot of helpful stuff in there.
