I donot think FP is of a big issue. The FP and the AOS I485 application will be processed parallely. Why I am saying this is , I heard couple of cases that even though they didnot do their FP they are getting notices.
But, the case I know of is, My friend who has filed in Dec 2000 (do not have details on WAC or RD or ND, know his papers are filed in Dec), postponed his FP as he was planning to go to India and Get married. He got the 1st FP in March, then second in May. He postponed the second one too...
But, as of Last week, He was informed by his attorney that his GC is approved.
Strange Right !!!
