Hi,

My I-140 got approved on Aug 7th, 02 at VSC.

I am in the process of preparing my 485 application for filing.

Can you please tell what would be the step by step process and how much time is required at each level.

following forms to be filled out :

I-485 : Application for Permanent residency
G-325 : Biographic Information
I-864 : Affadavit of Support (if sponsoring for spouse and/or kids)
I-765 (if applying for EAD)

You also need to take medical examination from INS approved doctor.

Time required to complete all forms : 2 weeks

Hi, friends, I meet some urgent problems to fill my I485. Any help will be greatly appreciated:

(1) In G-325A form, I do not know how to file (A) File Number A on the top and (B) Alien registration number on the bottom of the G-325A form. Where can I find them? In addition, both number are the same?

(2) Do I need list my son in Part 3. B of the I-485 form who was born in the U.S.?


(3) what is A # in I485 form? Is it the same as File Number A in G-325A form?

(4) In Part 3 of I485, question "were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer? answer "yes" or "No"?

(5) My wife has no SSN yet. Do I answer "N/A" or "None" in her I485 form. Which one is better?
