I was on H1-B in 1996-1997 and I have misplaced the copy of my H1B approval notice. Does anyone know what are the ways to get that copy?? I will need that copy for my GC.
My lawyer does not have it. Is there any other way to get it? Usually, how long lwyers keep their back ups?

Ask your employer to send I-824 form to INS along with $140 to get duplicate copy of approved H1-B.....Do it fast as it takes time to get that from INS....
