I have a question please about the civic answers, for example the question:
What is the rule of the law?
Do we have to answer with 1 answer or all the 4 answers?
For questions that ask for just one answer like "What is the economic system of the US?" you just need to remember one of the answers provided on the booklet even if there are more than one answer (the booklet for example provides two answers for the question above).
Some questions like "Name two US holidays" will obviously require you to remember two of the answers the booklet provides.
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate that!
Sure, I had my interview last month and I still remember how anxious I was. If it helps here are the questions I was asked:
1. Name a state that borders Canada
2. How many senators are there?
3. What is freedom of religion?
4. Who has to do selective service?
5. When was the Constitution written?
6. What is the ocean on the east coast?
U gotta get 6 out of 10 and the IO will stop once u get 6 right.
I was asked to read "What do we have to pay the government?" and I had to write "We have to pay taxes".
Hope that helps.
I have a misdemeanor for assault & criminal damage charges. After coming home from work late at night in 2010, I found my ex-wife with someone in his car in indecent position; they were both drunk, I get upset punched him and break his rear window, Because he hit my car while he was trying to run away. Of course the police report make it sound like they were and innocent angels and sweet lovers, besides I am the one who called the police. Anyway I went to jail for 24 hours and did my anger management classes, I have completed the classes and the probation period, Will this disqualify me from becoming a US citizen or should I wait another 5 years to apply for the Citizenship. Please advice
