Help with Renewal of AP/EAD

All:

I want to know if the processing dates for AP and EAD on the USCIS website are for New AP/EAD's or for New as well as Renewal AP/EAD's.

In other words are the processing dates different for New AP/EAD's and Renewal AP/EAD's (i.e I-131 and I-765).

Also I want know if I can travel out of the country when my renewal is pending and come back after he gets approved. My friend can FedEx me the approvals as soon as I get it.

Approval Dates

Approval dates are the same for new applications as well as for renewals. I would not travel while your AP is pending since you don't know the date when it will be approved. If it is approved after the date you left the country you might encounter a problem with IO at the port of entry.
