We need help understanding the following National Visa Center Letter;
"Dear Sir/Madam:
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: WAC97xxxxxxxx
Please be advised the I-797, Notice of Action - Approval Notice submitted with your inquiry indicates the principal applicant will be adjusting status in the United States. Please contact USCIS at 800-375-5283 or visit their web site at www.uscis.gov for additional information."
My father emailed them a request to upgrade my sister's petition to "over 21 daughter of Citizen", from the original "over 21 daughter of permanent resident".
It is not clear to us if they upgraded the application status, or if we need to contact USCIS, because she will do her status adjustment in the US.
Anyone with experience upgrading application, that could tell us?
