Hi guys,

I need help with my case. I'm married to a USC and my interview is next month.
Here is our background:

+ know each other for 8 years, date for 5 years, and married last Sep 08.
+ doesn't have anything together except for cellphone + my bank account ( since we are going to school and we both live on our parent's money
+ We doesn't have a wedding yet since we still are saving for it. We plan to have it by May 2010 when my wife finishes her degree and I probably save enough money by then.

I know we doesn't have strong evidence for our case, and I'm looking for advice on what else we can provide to prove our relationship ?

Thanks,

Did you go to the same high school or university? Go to the prom together? Take classes together? Involved in extracurricular activities together? Work together? Have old cellphone records showing that you called each other's numbers frequently? All of those are things for which documentary evidence should be available, if you did those things.

+ we went to high school + 2 yr college together
+ I can pull phone log showing that we talk to each other at least 2 3 times a day.
+ I start work next week and I can add her to my insurance.

Is there any other things I can do ?

Thanks a lot,

That's a good start ... you can gather diplomas/transcripts to show that you went to the same schools, get a mix of years-old bills and recent phone bills (both your bill and hers) to show that you've been talking for a long time are still talking, and highlight the lines where you're calling each other's number. Don't send them in ahead of time, just bring them to the interview and allow the interviewer to take copies if they want to.

Pictures of you two together are also good, especially those that show a place and/or time that makes it look like you didn't just do a fake pose yesterday in your backyard ... like pictures showing both of you a few years younger, and pictures at famous places that show you've actually traveled together.

luxuguy...you can open a join bank account with minimum balance and take it as proof. They don't care how much money is in joint account as long as you can show statements. Also, if you have travel itinerary from a joint trip ...take that with you. As you mentioned insurance is another good example. take lots of pictures and you should be fine.

Thanks guys,

+ My wife has been going to school in Nevada since Aug 08 and she has been constantly (once every month) flying back to Houston to visit me and her family. We keep record (tickets) about this.
+ I'm going to digg more pix as again, we don't travel much and still worry sick about this.

I'm taking all your advice and pray to see if we can ACE the interview :D ... the most difficult test we've faced :D
