Help with H1-F1 transfer

Hello,
I am currently on H1B, whose six years of validity ends in March 2009. I want to change to change my status to F1 between 2006 and 2008 and complete a full-time MBA.
My questions are:
1. Can I change my status back from F1 to H1 after I complete my MBA in 2008?
2. If I can change my status back to H1 in 2008, will I have one year of H1 validity left, or can I re-apply for a new six-year period for my H1?

Any help and/or suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated.

If you go back to your home country and stay one year and then apply H1 you will get another full 6 years.
