Help with AP application

I'm a first time applicant and had these questions:

(1) In section 7 of the I-131 application form they ask for an explanation on how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole. I intend to use it for my vacation. How should I reply to this question?

(2) One of the attachments asked for with the application is documents showing my current status. I've my H1B valid till Sep.2004. I also have my EAD and 485 receipt with me. Should I be showing my H1B or will the ead and 485 receipt suffice?

Thanks.

1. In the cover letter for AP just mention the reason why you want AP (vacation, to visit family back home etc). It doesn't really matter.

2. I think EAD and 485 receipt copies along with other documents is ok. I am not very sure on this one... wait for more replies.

1. I left that field BLANK
2. Send all photocopies, I-485, EAD, H1B whatever you have. There's no harm in it ;)

------ on cover letter write any reason for AP( they dont care) write any date of departure after 1-2 months (they dont care

you need to send form I-131, correct USCIS fees( it is increased $ 55) 2 photographs, I-485 filing reciept copy and if you have I-140 filing or I-140 approved then copy of I-14- approval AND color copy of your driving licence and color copy of your first page of passport that has your name, DOB, and photograph. write all the documents attached on cover letter on top of cover letter also write Your name(as on I-485) DOB, and A# and your address.
send all the documents by mail and out side the envelope write in big bold letters: Form I-131 application for Advance parole.

* make the copy of pakage that you send and keep it with you
Thanks.
