Hi,

So I am an international student with F1 visa in California.
I was actually applying for a temporary driver license on November 2012. At that time, I declare for not having SSN (as I have not got one). However, when I finally passed the driving test on March and was eligible to get my real driving license, I have got a SSN (it's been 4 months since November and I got a job). Because of this, I have problem with my legal presence in the United States and my driving license cannot be issued. However, I am more worried about something else. I am planing to leave the US in one month and I wonder if there will be any problem in the immigration when I enter the US?

Please kindly help, thank you

Sorry if I posted in the wrong sub forum

At the time of you leave USA, you need to prove that you have legally entered USA, If not you may face trouble.

I don't understand what SSN has to do with driver's license or legal presence.

well, basicly I have trouble with my legal presence since I had declared for not having SSN and I end up having one 3 months after that.

The issue is will legal presence issue cause trouble in immigration when reentering the US?
