Hello - I'm confused. I need some help completing my I-864 income section.
I'm married and am not intending to use my husband's income to meet income criteria as I don't need to. However, when I filed my I-864, calculating my individual income by removing my husband's income from our most recent tax return's income number, it was kicked back to me and I was told I needed to re-file because the number on my form didn't match my tax return.
So, now I'm unsure which number to put on the form and I have been unable to reach a human being at the USCIS number, despite serveral attempts.
The number on my tax return is obviously a compilation of both my husband's income and my income - if this is the number they want, unaltered, then won't I have to also include my husband on the affadvit of support?
