HELP !!! Travelling abroad and H1 is about to expire.

Guys , Please help me.
I have filed I485 for myself and family. RD-7/3/01,ND-8/17/01.
I did not applied for Advance paroll.
My H1/H4 is valid till 2/28/02.

Q : I and family going to India in Dec. and will come back in first
    week of Jan. 2002. So my H1/H4 will be valid for just a month
    and half at the time of reentering US.
    Do you guys see any q\'s from INS while I reenter US ..?
    Anybody faces this kind of situation ..?
Q : If I go to Newark,NJ INS office for Advance Paroll , do they
    give AP immediately ..? will they ask any q\'s..? what kind of q\'s ..?

You should be able to enter with your H1 but would advice to go with a AP in hand as a standby. You never know the real deal especially after the recent attacks.
