Help!!! Still no FP notice , RD:02/14/02(NJ)

FP appt. depends on where you live
FP appt. depends on where you live. In NJ, I belive there are multiple centers which give FP appt. Try to figure out which center will send you FP and then track the appt. dates on this site.

I have never received my I485 receipts even thought I got the AP & EAD. And I didn\'t get FP notice either. So I called VSC 5 weeks ago, the IIO told me it\'s OK without I485 receipt, and she said she is going to take care of my FP notice. It happened that my lawyer called them 3 weeks ago to check my I485 receipts. Do you think these 2 calls in 2 weeks will annoy the IIO to have bad effects to my case?

Don\'t worry about the calls made. But from now on don\'t call them unnecesarily
because INS does keep track of calls made to IIO.

In my case I got EAD and AP first.. One month after getting EAD only I got i-485 receipt.
This is because case numbers (EAC) of i-485, EAD, AP are different and they may go to different officers and they may have different queues.
regarding FP notice as others mentioned it depends on local office. If their workload is high you have to wait sometimes 6-7 months.You can see RD and FP dates in rupnet.com/immigration. Some got FP notice in 2 months , for others it took even 8 months.
