Help - RFE Process

Hello Friends,

I would like to know your experiences on RFE's.

My concern is that does a person always gets a letter in mail. Does the online status changes to RFE generated always?

Has anyone here got an RFE while the online status has never changed to RFE generated or similar?

Would be gr8 if the experienced or those who have some info on this could share it with me.

Why do you want to spoil your sleep for something that has not happended. Cross the bridge when you come to it. :D

I was hoping that this would never come....

Here it is, on 21st Feb'03, an RFE is generated form my case. Even the status of my spouse shows that RFE generated.

Now this has confused me a lot. If it is an employment RFE ( which is most common ) why did they change the status of my spouse's application as well. Or is for something else?

Maan this is more killing than waiting for the actual Approval.

If both ur cases are changed, then it might be for medicals/Birth certificate/marriage certificate etc and not for Employment.
Or it might be employment for u and something else for ur dependants.
If you alone had a RFE, ur dependants case wouldn't change.
Ur lawyer will get the RFE notice and not you, unless u don't have a lawyer.

Hi,

Got the notice in mail yesterday. Its a wierd RFE.

RFE is for getting doctor's signatures on the medical forms. Doctor had initially signed but was in black and the office probably thougt that it was a stamp or a fax copy since I had filled my form in blue and doctor had signed it in black....

Anyway got it signed again and hopefully everything should be allright now.

In short was a Medical related RFE.
