Help required!!! Very Very urgent..!!!! - Lost I-94

I came to US in Jan 2006 in L1B Visa. My passport and I-94 were recently stolen from me!! I am planning to take a vacation to India in Jan 2007. I am not sure if I would get my duplicate I-94 if I apply now. I would like to know if I-94 should be surrendered while leaving US or if there is a work around for it (say by showing the police report)..!!??

Someone advise.!!!

Thanks.
Karthik

contact local consular office

Best to check with your local U.S. consulate. I had written an incorrect Date of Birth on mine and they fixed it there and then, issuing me a new one. So you never know!

Good Luck!

I have managed not to surrender any of my I-94s in the past 3 yrs(I travel very often). just say you have no idea what they want...you don't know where it is. it's not a big deal

Are you a moron or something? Why are you giving wrong advice if you dont know a shit about it.

I-94 submission is the proof that you left the country within the limits of your i-94, it should be submitted and must be submitted. You are digging your own grave if your not submitting it for last three years.

I would say you go to your local USCIS office and talk to them. Once it had happened to me that they wrote H4 on my I-94 and H1 on my wife's which was exactly opposite so I went to my local port of entry USCIS office and they fixed.
