Help required regarding Medical report for Balitmore interview

Hi All,
I have a GC interview scheduled at Balitmore INS on the
october 24. When my lawyer filed I-485 petition we did not
include our medical report as we did not wanted to delay the
filing date. Laweyer adviced me that we shall file againt an RFE.
We never received an RFE.
Now we want to take the same sealed medical report to the
interview. The problem is, we had our medical done on
october 10 2001 and we have our interview on october 24 2002.
So the report is over two weeks older than the stipulated one year validity period.

Will the INS officer accept the medical report that we got
an year ago?
Or do we have to redo the test and get a new report?

Our lawer was not 100% sure that INS would accept the report.
and she put the ball in my court.

Any of you guys submitted the medical with the interview?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have they requested

the medicals in the interview letter?
If not, this is ridiculous. How can INS ever do this? Not even receive medicals, and transfer the case to local INS?
Anyways, no point in screaming at you. I think you should redo your medicals and take the latest one for interview.
I just get put off by such cases. People like me who duly go by all the pre-requisites and wait forever and people with even 2002 RD getting approved at Baltimore. Everything just stinks. No one to blame except INS and myself.
Again no offense to you md1024.
It is me but me to be blamed for all these sufferings..being a fellow MD'er filed in Sept.

Hi md1024,

I have the same question about the medical as you do. But I guess it should be accepted unless they suspect there might be some problems with the applicant's health.

Could you please provide your transfer date (TD) and the date when you received your notice from Baltimore for all of us. I don't think you are in our Baltimore tracking list.

Thank you!

Don't take the risk; I would advice you to get a new medical done. The same doctor can help you if you explain the situation.
All the Best,

Thanks for your reply!

I would go to the *same* doctor. I heard they have to keep the medical info at least for 1 year.

Your Interview Appointment Notice, will tell you exactly what documents you need to carry. If medicals are required (Which I am sure, they are, since you never sent them the medicals), it definately will say so

Strange thing is the medical report is not requested in the
document list to be taken for the interview.

I received the interview notice on Septemeber 19th.
