Hello All Gurus,
After a long wait, my labor got approved and I-140 is getting processed. Assuming that goes fine, I will be required to apply for I-485 in June.
The problem is, in April, I have a domestic violence (family argument) case between me and my wife - we have been recommended for 2 months of counseling which we have started. This counseling ends in July. Domestic violence is a criminal case.
Please can you hewlp me with the following questions :
1> Is this case a very serious case to deny me a green card?
2> When should I mention my company ( a Wall Street firm ) abt this case?
3> Will I be called for the interview? If so, what are my chances of explaining? Any experiences would be more than welcome.
4> Do you know of any good lawyers in the tri-state are who I can consult considering the case has both immigration and legal aspects.
Regards
