I have applied for 485 in jan, got laid off in May, my project got transitioned into another company and they applied for the H1 Visa eventhough I had my EAD, they felt it is too risky for them as my employer may go out of business.
Now the project is getting taken over by the client and client is asking ,me to join another consulting firm. Now my 485 is past 180 days and I have given my fingerprints in June.
I have given my EAD to join the new consulting firm and they have accepted it.
Anybody having any thoughts about my GC and chances of my getting out of trouble...??
