My wife is in US on a L-1 for a year. I plan to visit her for a month on a L-2. Since I have a good job in India I don't want to quit and would rather visit my wife for a month. Would the consulate frown on the fact that I plan to visit her only for a month, since typically people use the L-2 to join the spouse for a long duration?
Also, could somebody let me know if any additional documentation (in addition to the regular documentation such as marriage proof, LCA, etc., listed on the consulate website) is required to be on the safer side during the interview?
Any advice would be deeply appreciated!
