Hi everyone,

I got a question on work experience letter. Can I keep the original letters I got from my previous U.S. employers and just send photocopies to INS?

Another question: I worked for a U.S. university as a Teaching Assistant for 2 years. However, on my Labor application, it states 'Graduate Assistant', while the work experience letter says 'Teaching Assistant'. But the job duties on both LC and letter are exactly the same. Will that cause any problem on my I-140 application?

Thanks!

Hi Immi_2003,
I have similar situation,
Can you please give some more details regd ur case.
like is ur labour done??? and what were the requirements in ur labour like no of years of expierence required and degree required and which INS is goin to take care of ur case i mean in INS Vermont???.
I had 2 years of RA expierence and i was wondering if part time expierence is ever considered for Green card at all???

What I know letters of exprience have to be originals not photocopies and if possible notalised. To the second question i dont know.

hi pkumar07_02

My situation is different from yours. My TA experience is for another major, not for the field for which my Labor was filed. My lawyer put the TA experience on my Labor application just because it is on my resume, but it won't be counted as the work experience towards matching the job requirement.
