Help: Question about Greenville, SC

I have been asked to move to Greenville, SC. Any idea about

1) Living conditions
2) Crime rate
3) Safety for the family
4) School

Basically, i am looking if it is a safer place to move/live...

Any input is welcomed.

It is a very nice place.

SC has low cost of living too! If you have doubts, go there and take a look!

Its kind of backwaters. Not liberal like NY , Bos , NJ etc.
