my husband already became a citizen and i want to apply for green card. I'm on J1 visa (expired ON 2006).
When My husband applies I -130, do i have to wait approval and then send the I-485 or ?????
Do i have to send I-693 Medical Examination with I-485????
Can i send I-765 Authorization for Employment and I-131 (advanced parole ) with I-485???

You are going to need a waiver for the 2 year HRR. Otherwise your AOS will be denied.

You have to file and receive the HRR waiver before you can even apply for AOS.

However, Department of State demands proof of you being here legally, and will not process the waiver otherwise. Good luck with that!

Hi,
How can i get the HRR waiver? Do i have to fill up form Application for Waiver of the Foreign Residence Requirement I-612 (for USCIS Vermont Service Center) and form DS-3035 ( for U.S. Department of State
Waiver Review Division). Do I have to send both forms?

you start here. Whether you have to fill out I-612 depends on the type of waiver you will choose to apply for. Do take it seriously. Do your research before you apply. there is plenty of materials here (in J-1 subforum, and in one of the yahoo groups).

Dear LucoMo,
i deeply appreciate your help.
I looked in my passport today and the visa says ,, 212E DOES NOT APPLY",GEORGIA (my country) but my IAP-66 says that 212E is applicable for exchange visitor (J 1) visa. I'm very confused and can't understand if I'm subject For HRR or not.
Please let me now if you have any idea abot that.

well, obviously, you didn't provide the money for your program. Somebody did. Whether you have HRR depends on who provided the money. You should find out.
