Hello everybody!
I hope you’re all doing great and in good health. I have a question and hopefully some of you might be able to help me.
I filed my N 400 at the Vermont Center in November of last year. All what I know is that the INS cashed the check. I have not received anything from them after my filing date, not a receipt or notice or anything. I am trying to call the Service center almost everyday and they keep asking me for a receipt number. I am not sure what to do now. Any recommendation from a anyone will be a great help. I have been waiting for so many months now. I sent them over 10 letters and even sent them copies of my application that was filed with them and copy of my bank statement that they cashed the check. I did not hear anything and not sure what to do.
Thank you in advance for the help guys, I appreciate that so much!

Did you get the cashed check back? Because BCIS writes reciept # on the returned check. You can request a copy of that check from your bank and see if there is any reciept number on it. Usually reciept # starts with EAC*....... Good luck.

Hi,

I have similar issue for my wife's adjustment of status application after my Citizenship. It is been more than 6 weeks I did not get receipt notice. BCIS Dallas accepts Money order or Cashier's check only (they returned my application because of personal check and I have resubmitted with money order), I have managed to check with the Bank, they said the "Money Order" has been cashed. I called the BCIS customer service center, they told me it will take 30 working days. I am waiting with hope.

Good Luck.
