Help please

Hi, here's the story.

My wife filed I-90 (d) because her green card had her maiden name. But they sent it back saying it wasn't USCIS fault. So we filed I-90 again and payed the fee.

They sent us the appointment letter for Biometrics and stuff. So we go there for biometrics and they asked us for the old green card. We told them we sent it with the application because it said so.

Were we not supposed to send the old green card with I-90? What should we do? We'd appreciate any help.

-------if on her I-485 form her name was maiden name then it was not USCIS fault
They sent us the appointment letter for Biometrics and stuff.
So we go there for biometrics and they asked us for the old green card. We told them we sent it with the application because it said so.
------------------That is correct. You were supposed to send Card with form I-90
Were we not supposed to send the old green card with I-90?
