I 've been a silent reader of this forum all these days and this has been a ofa great help to all. Hope it helps me too..

I have doubt here.. Do i need to contact the US sentor or the state sentor for my district. Do they respond over phone..

BTW, my case was filed on may 2002,had my FP1 on july 8th, i still have not recieved my FP2 notice and no info on the EAD2 i had applied, anybody like this..TIA

My ND is sep 26 2003, I know it is too early for me to start jumping all over the place for 485 but still I want to sign this petitition, there they ask for "Alien Number" what is that?

Soryy if i made you laugh on my poor knowledhe abt this stuff.

Mine ND is later than yours but i signed the petition.Even if your ND is in FEb 2004 i think you should still sign the petition.

Alien number is no which is assigned to you at the time filing of I485. It is on your I485 receipt. It starts with A#xxxxxxxxx (9 digits i think.) So look carefully on your I485 receipt.

This A number is reference for your application (I485) ,EAD and Green Card. Once you get your EAD you will see that that no will be listed on EAD. same thing for Green Card.(kind a like SSN but not same and this is only for I485,EAD and Greencard)
