Hi All
I called up the IIO to find out about the status of mine and my husband\'s case. The IIO said that for my case they are issuing an "intent to deny" and for my husband the case should be adjudicated in 30 days. Our GC process has been done through my husband\'s company.

Can someone please tell what do they mean by intent to deny/ Has anyone heard of one case being approved and the other denied.

Please any suggestions and comments are welcome. After a wait of 5 years we are near the end of our rope.

You should not worry too much. They might require your visa status for a certain duration of time. You might have forgotten to send either the copy of all your visa or I-94 etc.

it would be difficult to predict the cause of "Intent to Deny" without much information. However, I\'d begin looking at the all visa dates (begin and expiry dates), I94 dates, any possible out of status situation either due to visa changes or things like that... Definitely talk to your lawyer as he may be more knowledgeable in your case. Please post you PD, ND, Category, Country details.
