Help.. Please..?!... Help OPT to H-1b

Thanks for taking the time to look at my little message..

I have a Bachelors degree and after I graduated I did OPT. My OPT expired July 2000. I now have been offered a job and my employer is willing to sponsor me for an H-1 visa.. is this okay?

I heard there was some kind of waiting period after the OPT has expired before you can apply for the H-1 visa?

Are you in US and in valid status? I presume that you are not in US, in which case there is no waiting period for H1 since H1 is dual intent visa.
