US Consulate(Chennai) issued query for H4 visa to my wife to produce additional Documents from my Employer in Oct-2004. I am on H1B visa.
At present I am in Illinois working on longterm contract. I came to US in Sep-2002 and on bench upto Jan-2003 with no income with company A. In Feb-2003 I joined company B and with them I am in bench upto June-2003 without income. From then I am doing good and able to get good contracts for my skills. So in Sep-2004 I went to India got married and came back to USA to join in the same monthend in new contract (Sep-2004). US consulate is asking explaination for difference in income for 2003(only 13K) as per LCA it should be 42K. I waited for 2004 W2 which shows above 42K. I had sent all other supportive documents like photos, payslips, employers tax/W2's of all employees, Letter from current primary contractor, letter from employer about present status and my personal letter requesting to issue H4 Visa to my wife to join me. I am not feeling confident to send my wife again to Chennai Consulate as My company is not ready to give the explaination for 2003 income. My wife is ready to go to US Consulate(Chennai, India) after two weeks. I don't want to go against with my employer. I am happy with what they had done till time. They had taken care of me during all the time providing accomidation, food and transportation when I am in Bench and without income(in 2003). Please let me know how to provide explaination to US Consulate (Chennai) to explain the suituation and suffication I am undergoing at present as we were apart after 2 days of my marraige. Please someone provide me solutions for this..how to proceed? Will she able to get visa without giving 2003 income explaination and with rest of the ducuments?
