Help Please...extremely nervous!

AOS interview was done last month but could not receive the approval as Name check was pending. We have been married for 28 months at the time of AOS interview and I saw that IO has put IR6 on one of his document. He also told me that we are fine and all he needs is FBI name clearance.

My wife has intiated the divorce last week. What will the status of my pending AOS due to name check?

I am also eligible to file through my employer before Aug-16. Can my employer file when my AOS for marriage based file is just waiting for FBI name check?

Please help me guys and I am getting extremely nervous.
