Hi, everyone,

I am a daily visitor to the site and have been enjoying the comments and knowledge of the readers.

Here is my question:

I am in I-485 (RD/ND 09/02) no FP yet.
My H1 has expired. I am working on EAD. I was thinking about having my parents from China visit me but what document could I give them for getting their visa? Basically, I have no H1 so they could not apply on that. I am very confused. Would appreciate your help very much.

All you need to send is the affidavit of support form that you can find in the USCIS website. That form will have information on the relevant documents you need to send to your parents.

And your parents would need whatever other documents to convince the US embassy that they will not stay back in the U.S.

Document needed

copy of your passport, visa, 485 receipt,
You must have a letter from your Human Resources that says your position and salary. A bank statement showing you have $ may be needed
Document to prove your relationship.
They may ask other documents or qustions randomly

Hi
I also included the following documents for my In-Laws

My Copy of EAD.
My Copy of All Pages of My Passport.

Thanks

All the documents you provide are to show that you will support the person financially during their stay in the US.
