I read some of the previous threads but couldnt really find an answer to my problem. I am currently on an OPT. I could have a good opportunity to start a business with an american associate. What are my options:
- It looks like i can not apply for H-1B if i want to run the company
- could my associate start the company and then hire me for the specialized job. Would the H-1B application work since the company would be very recent. Are there issues with the minimum salary the company would have to pay me?
- I am open to anything... including being a simple employee of the company.
I am on a OPT for 1 year. I want to stay here longer
What can i do?
