Help on renewal EAD & AP

Guys,

This is the 3rd EAD and AP I am renewing through online. i.e I e-filed both EAD & AP for my wife and Kid. My question is do I send supporing documents like pictures, copy of I-485, I-140. 1st and 2nd time I sent all these documents. but friend of mine said it is not necessary as they have all information. Is it true?
