i have a sponsor to the US,they are married couple without a children but we have never met before,they were introduced by a friend and they wanted to sponsor me more of like a waiver.The problem is i quitted school while i was 16 but my english is excellent.Im 19 years old now,working as a professional Scuba Diver*Divemaster*,the question is does my status affect me from applying for a US citizenship without a high school diploma?
:confused::confused: pls help

That couple can't sponsor your green card.

Are you inside or outside the US? If you're in the US illegally, did you enter legally and how long did you overstay?

the question is does my status affect me from applying for a US citizenship without a high school diploma
Are you aware that green card is not the same as US citizenship? You need a green card first before you can apply for citizenship (with limited exceptions such as service in the US military).

Where are you now and in what status?

A "greencard" is a thing issued to an Immigrant. An immigrant is petitioned either by a qualifying relative or an employer. These unrelated people cannot petition for you except for an employment-based category and you do not appear to eligible for any type of employment visa. "unskilled worker" visas are very very limited and take many years to get, if ever. IF you had a marketable skill in a job for which no U.S. worker is available, it would still take around 10 years to get a visa that way.

3rd preference immigrant visas for "other workers" are being processed for people who were petitioned before 22JUL03 (longer for China and India).

You must be capable, at the time the petition is filed on your behalf, of performing unskilled labor (requiring less than 2 years training or experience), that is not of a temporary or seasonal nature, for which qualified workers are not available in the United States.

Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required.
