Help on L1 visa please

Gurus,

My Labor and 140 are already approved. Can not apply for 485 due to retro.

I am on L1, petition ends in Mar09. I know H1 gets 3 year( or 1 year) extensions.
Is it true for L1 too?

Anybody in similar conditions?

Any help is appriciated.

No. L1 is not extendable beyond 5/7 years on the current rule.

Switch to H1B if you have enough time remaining on your L1 or switch to E if you are from eligible country.
