Help on getting Police Clearance for N400 Approval

I have applied for US Citizenship (N400) in June 2009.

N400 - Mailed June 13th 2009
- Receipt Date and Priority Date: June 15th 2009
1st FP Date - July 27 2009 - Rejected Due to WET Hands
2nd FP Date - Aug 29 2009 - Rejected Due to WET Hands
Interview Date: Oct 26th 2009 and Passed
-- Requested Police Clearance for last 5 years as FP has issues.

- Never arrested / cited --

How do we get the Police Clearance and how long does this process take?

Please advice.

Inquire with your local police department for every place you lived during the last 5 years. They will be able to provide you a report.

Again, contact the local police department as the requirements can vary. Typically they will ask for your full name and DOB to initiate a search.

All it takes is for you is to walk to your local police department and ask them for the report. None of us here work for your local police department so it is best that you go to your local police department. Atfer all they are not going to detain you for asking the report
