do you have any idea how long it will take to get a receipt for I 485? My lawer file all the papers for 485 about 3 weeks back.

My Guess !

VSC is sending receipts for cases received during the first week of July. As you know, that is when the gates opened. So it will be a while before you get your receipt.

You may get receipts, AP and EAD in quich succession, sometime towards the end of September.
