Hi I am a Canadian resident (PR).
I had sponsored my mother to become a PR (through Buffalo).
She got her landing papers, etc, everything. She tried to land in Canada (we actually drove through). (I had landed a long time ago in 2001).
However I was accompanying her.
She was refused landing because the office said that I(her sponsor) had been outside Canada. When I told them that I was in Canada for the most part but was unable to find a job and had to look for a job in the US AND that the Buffalo consulate was aware of it.
however she was refused landing and I was told to approach Buffalo with more proof etc. etc.
My question is : I am now getting a job in Canada( am now in the US). should we try making a trip to Buffalo and explaining the new situation to the consulate or shoudl I hire and attorney and let them deal with it?
