After waiting for 120 days, the INS (VSC), sent my son\'s photo ( left eye is not visible) back. I sent two new one.

I arranged everything to go to Canada. My questions are:

[1] If I go to Arlington with his approval notice and passpost, do you think, INS will stamp his passport?

[2] or Do I have to take my son (7 years old)?

[3] What documents do I need to take?

Thanks,

Dilip

This info. may help you.

Hi,

Even though the information that you had given is NOT enought to give you some feed back. How ever I\'m giving some feed back based on the following assumptions,

Assumption:
Your son\'s GC has been approved on a Derivative basis. You wanted to go for his GC Stamping...!

If this assumption is correct, I have read on this board about a thread created by some one. Based on what they have described, I believe \'A kid\'s GC will be sent directly to the home address\'. No need for stamping. But in case, one intend to travel with the kid, it\'s better to go and get the PP Stamped. To do a GC Stamping for a kid, there is NO need to take the kid with you. If there is a doubt, better call the respective Service Center (Or) the place you intend to go for GC stamping.

PS: Do a search on this board using \'Search\' option and using the right key words about kid\'s stamping. This might give you more similar postings.

Hope this helps.
