Help Needed H1 To H4 Visa Transfer

Hi All
I had got H4 to H1B visa transfer last year. But didn't got any project,so not having any pay stubs. Planning to visit my homeland and wants to get transfer my visa back to H4.Just confused how to do that
1) In USA
OR
2) In my homeland

And what difficulties I can possibly face

PLEASE HELP ME
