help needed for contacting congressman or senator

My case has been stuck in the FBI name check and I plan to contact the local congressman or senator. Do anyone have a sample letter to congressman or senator about this kinda issue? Could you please share it with me and send to my email address is xishuitianya@yahoo.com?

In my letter to the congressman or senator, should I include all the information about my cases? My A#, receipt no,receipt date? Or I can include a copy of the i-485?

I am very confused and don't know how to begin the first step now. Your kind advice will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

Dear Congressman,

With reference to the above I need your assistance in expediting background (name) check from FBI.
As you are aware the Green card process involves name check by the FBI which generally takes 2 days, in my case it is pending for over 4 months.
I have called FBI but as per their policy they do not give any information on phone and we have to send a fax asking for information, which I have done numerous times. There is no information from FBI.

We need your kind help in getting the FBI name check expedited.
