Help : Laid Off , can work out of state on EAD ?

Hi All

I just laid off this week and am looking for work. I have gone past the 180 day barrier so I can use my EAD now. I filed in Vermont - just wondering do I have to retsrict my job search to a particular area or can I work anywhere as long as the job classification is the same ?

You can work anywhere, in any capacity, on EAD. You need a similar position for your GC to be approved.

Thanks for the advice James. So if I work in Texas or Cali I need not worry about my case getting transferred to the service centers that cover them.
