Help , just receivied Bio from TSC

I have just received a BIO form TSC Center today indicating that I have to go next week to the nearest Immigration office. Could anyone help me please in answering these questions?
1) What does Biometrics mean?
2) The letter did not ask me to do any Medical record , do I need to do it or do I have to wait for another letter form the INS?
3) How long does it take usually after I submit my Bio to get my GC? What other steps are needed after the Bio!!!

first of all you have to tell us what code is on your bio letter from there any member will be more then happy to answer your questions easily :) Good luck
 
thank you very much for taking the time and replying my message. the Code on the Bio is (Code 3 ) . wish this will help . once again thank you
 
Cu, the BIO (code 3) will be the following: fingerprints (together and separately), picture and electronic signature. Check my recent thread regarding code 3 for more info.
