HELP! just get laidoff, can i apply for unemployment Insurance?

I Just get laidoff (worked for 1 year and 2 months) and filed the I130 with I485 in Dec. had FP, still waiting for further notice. SO, Can I apply for unemployment insurance at this moment with having any bad influence on my GC application? THanks!!

let me answer my own question. after 2 and half month, i got the EAD card based on famliy GC application. since i have work authorization , i certainly can apply for the unemployment insurence.

Not at all. They are not means-tested and so long as you are eligible to work, you can collect.
