HELP !!!! Job Change case

Hi fellow seekers,

I am on the verge of changing jobs in the next few days and my employer is threatening to cancel my GC process. Both him and the lawyers seem ignorant of AC21 and I am now confused because i don\'t know how this might affect the process. I already told my new employer that he wouldn\'t need to file anything for me. Can anyone help? I am actually now seeking a good lawyer because it looks like I have a long legal issue coming. Any opinion will be appreciated.

You most definitely need a legal opinion. Although INS has issued guidelines in a memo, there are no regulations. The problem that you are running into needs to be addressed.

I don\'t mean to scare you, but in the current regulations your employer could terminate GC processing. I changed my job after 180 days, but my old employer had no problems with it.
